This website http://www.tsdscard.com is operated on behalf of Think Safe Drink Safe partners (Manchester City Council, NHS Manchester and Greater Manchester Police) by Public Health Development Service (“PHDS”). PHDS is a department of Manchester Community Health, commissioned by NHS Manchester, and as such adheres to the organisation’s “Records Management Policy” as well as other policies and standards for the protection of information. This website is therefore subject to those strict safeguards.
There are various facilities within this website which allow you to type in information and send it to PHDS. You should be aware that such transmissions are not subject to any particular encryption and could, in theory, be intercepted and read by someone. Therefore you may wish to avoid including information which you consider private. Any information you supply to PHDS via this website will be handled in accordance with our mechanisms and safeguards for data protection.
Where the provision of personal data is required to enable us to provide a specific service to the user the details collected will only be used for the stated purpose. Certain sections of this site seek personal information on a voluntary basis; for example, to give feedback on our scheme. The Think Safe Drink Safe card website does not store or capture personal information, unless voluntarily offered (for example via application forms, feedback forms and e-mail), but merely logs the user’s IP address which is automatically recognised by the Web server.
